Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Excursion Spotlight - Pageant of the Masters

All three weeks will get to attend a truly unique spectacle at the Pageant of the Masters--ninety minutes of "living pictures" - re-creating classical and contemporary works with real people. An outdoor amphitheater, professional orchestra, original score, live narration, intricate sets, sophisticated lighting, expert staff, and hundreds of dedicated volunteers have won recognition for the Pageant as the best presentation of its kind.

The Genius - 2012 Pageant of the Masters Theme at LagunaFestivalOfArts.com
Each visit to a Pageant will be preceded by an afternoon of hands-on art creation and a chance to meet professional aritsts at the Festival of Arts. Very special thanks to the Festival of Arts Foundation for making this activity possible year after year!
