Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Community Day a Success!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks to all of you who volunteered with us at the Community Arts Festival on September 30th! It was so much fun to see you after the summer and catch up. Some of you are so much taller than the last time we saw you.

The Community Arts Festival was a wonderful time to get together. We helped children and their families participate in activities like making instruments out of paper plates, coloring, playing violins, face painting, and meeting musicians. All of us had important jobs and it was a big effort in teamwork to make the whole day come together successfully.

We could not have had such great activities without your help. Thanks for joining us and we hope you will volunteer with us again soon!

Warmly,
Rachel
