Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Way To Go Alvin!

A big arts-X-press cheer for Alvin who is the 1st arts-X-press alumni and student volunteer to have already helped out at 3 different events this season at the Pacific Symphony! I hope others of you will follow his lead and be as enthusiastic as Alvin about helping out at different concerts and events through the year.

Don't forget, if you volunteer 3 or more times during the season you will get a voucher for tickets to one of our Summer Concerts at Verizon Wireless !

Our next Volunteer Opportunity is for our Family Concert, featuring a condensed version of "The Nutcracker" on December 1st. It's coming up pretty fast, so if you are interested in volunteering, please email Darci as soon as possible at: musicalcarnival@pacificsymphony.org

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Carrie
