Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

What to Expect at Spring Orientation

Hello arts-X-press 2008 Students!

We have just a few more Spring Orientations left that you can attend. Thanks to everyone who has already come - we've enjoyed meeting you and your parents. For those of you that haven't gone to Orientation yet, you might be wondering what to expect. Well....

First you will be greeted by some of your friendly arts-X-press staff! Once you sign-in you will get a packet filled with all of your registration materials and will find out which session you have been accepted into.

The first half of the Orientation is dedicated to sharing with you a little bit about what arts-X-press is all about and to give you a peak at what you will be doing during your time at the program.
Then you will have the opportunity to ask questions. We will share the history of the program with you and show you a slideshow with past arts-X-press students talking about their experiences.

The second half of the orientation we will go over, in detail, all of the registration forms that your received.

Then you get to ask us more questions! We love to answer all of your questions and want to make sure you are comfortable with your decision to attend arts-X-press.

After the Orientation is over you are welcome to turn in your deposit and any other registration forms you have completed.
This is a great chance for you to come and introduce yourself to the staff and say hello!

We can't wait to see the rest of you at one of the remaining Orientations! To view the remaining Orientation dates and locations CLICK HERE.
