Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Mary Poppins!!

Hello Everyone! This is the resident coordinator Leah filling you in on our excursion where we saw Mary Poppins by Musical Theater West. We started off by having a  picnic on the Cal State Long Beach Lawn.
Our resident theater teacher Wendy gave us a pre-show preparation before we went into the carpenter theater.
 We were even joined by our week 2 dance teacher Shanti and her very own mini Mary Poppins.
The show was a blast and we are getting ready for our spotlight workshops this evening as well as some talent show preparation.
