Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Our Creative Expression Group has done some impressive and insightful work in the past few days.  They have journaled daily about Inspirations and Realizations that they have made during camp.  Many of them found their "Magic Moment" while attending the performance of The Wedding Singer at Musical Theatre West yesterday afternoon.  A few of them had never seen a musical before, and even the musical experts were impressed by the hilarity and the energy of the production.  Please enjoy our OWN version of The Wedding Singer, complete with some musical interludes that may remind you of a simpler time:  The Eighties!
