Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Day 2

Hello everyone! Counselors Michelle and Bryan here to talk about Day 2's fun filled and eventful day! Campers have continued to make strong friendships throughout their art workshops, CE groups, and other activities! We swung over to the Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton to watch the musical Tarzan based off of the Disney movie! After, the cast came out to do some Q&A for the campers about what it's like to put on a production. A lot of campers took creative risks and stepped out of their comfort zone in our various spotlight workshops that featured theater, vocal, and dance! And to end the night we had appreciation, which each person named someone they were thankful for at home and someone they were thankful for at camp. After everything was said and done, we went to bed nice and early so we can prepare for day 3 :)
