Ashley & Jordan, Counselors
Arts-X-press is a summer arts immersion program for 7th and 8th grade students created by the Pacific Symphony in celebration of Cole Carsan St.Clair. 150 students are nominated by teachers throughout Orange County to come together for 5 days of creative exploration each summer. The program has two goals: 1) To expose students to all 5 performing and visual arts; and 2) To foster respect for and interest in each student’s individuality, talents, interests, and background.

Yo yo yo it's ya girl Ashley! We had a pretty hectic day which was mostly spent working on the campers presentations that most of you saw. The Pacific Symphony's very own musicians came and demonstrated their instruments and helped the students in an instrument petting zoo. We had a chance to play the viola, violin, saxophone, clarinet, and flute. The campers also participated in the Arts-X-Press talent show, which was phenomenal. It was awesome to see all of the great talents and was pleasantly surprising. And speaking of surprises, our surprise party really threw off the campers! We had a 15-20 minute party with lots of balloons and glow sticks which was the best way to end a fun day. We are all going to miss everyone so much but don't worry! The campers got all of each other's contact information and will definitely be staying in touch after Arts-X-Press comes to a close. We will see you in a few hours at the bus stops! That's all for now, folks :)
